The birth of Train Until Forever (TUF) was purely accidental. Marty at the time, was out of shape, overweight, and created TUF on social media to keep himself accountable. In the early months of 2019, Marty was able to shed 42 pounds in 12 weeks, while documenting his weight loss journey on social media platforms. Because of his success in weight loss and the ability to create new and healthy habits, he quickly gained new followers on social media constantly asking what the secret was to losing weight in such a short amount of time. His answer; “DISCIPLINE AND STAYING HUMBLE.”
After this, he vowed to live the “TUF” lifestyle and help inspire others to accomplish their goals. Whether the training is with fitness, martial arts, acting, singing, playing a musical instrument, or being a student, the TUF lifestyle is devoted to never giving up on your dreams or passion. To obtain your goal and even then, once it’s achieved, it’s still just the beginning. Train Until Forever.
Marty Lee is currently an authorized instructor through Martial Blade Concepts. His journey to instructor-ship started with his weight loss. This was his way of expressing the TUF lifestyle and mentality. When he’s not teaching or training, Marty is giving back to his community where he grew up in, practicing and teaching Emergency medicine as a Paramedic (preceptor) with the San Francisco Fire Department.
One of Marty’s greatest passion is teaching. It was a skill he lacked initially and still to this day, is working on the ability to improve as an instructor (TUF mindset).
His approach on teaching in general came from his devotion and passion in learning Martial Blade Concepts. A edge weapon based self defense system that heavily relies on modern day tactics with the emphasis of legality and understanding the “why” behind everything that is done.
Marty’s goal through TUF, is to continue to teach and inspire others through basic concepts he’s learned through martial arts, developing discipline, humility, and having the mindset of ALWAYS A STUDENT. For Marty’s own path, taking the physiological potential of those concepts and applying it further, into being a better instructor, student, mental well being, and in life.
The mindset to succeed is 100% your responsibility. Let us help you get there.
